The King's Palace

I am sure you have visited some Royal Palaces in overseas which are often very grand and impressive. I have seen the lovely palaces in China, Japan, Thailand and also the famous White House in Washington DC as well as the Buckingham Palace in London. I thought that I should at least visit our own new Istana Negara along Jalan Duta. Why not? Have YOU??

My old father was restless and wanted to do some sight seeing, so we took him there.

The wall might look plain so I needed to pose like a monkey instead.

My signature pose around coconut trees! Anay hiding from Letchumy.

The Horse and I.

I wish they would open the gates for me to ronda ronda inside like in overseas.

    2. Annay said he posed like monkey, must be his hands cannot keep quiet in the pocket, move here and there. The guards scared annay will molest all the sculptures in the majestic garden if allowed him in.

    1. have i been to see a lot of palaces?? hmmm, can't really remember.. the forbidden city is the one i like most, simply because we are allowed to go into the palace, instead of just taking photos like monkey outside the gate..

I think they should convert the old palace into a museum. It belonged to an old Chinese Tycoon.

    4. Can I borrow Zaini's bicycle instead? Ah Hua cannot run, later out of breath for sure will pengsan. Then very picky to allow only hansem 6-packed torso for CPR emergency; no Tom, Dick and Harry is allowed.

    1. I didn't know got people lari up down that area. I noticed this palace is well designed to protect the palace from any untoward protests or march outside like what happened at the old palace. They can just easily barricade the winding roads that lead up there!

  7. I would rather visit the old palace. Bet the build quality is better since its a heritage building. Dunno when the roof will leak and collapse.
