Big Bad Wolf's Book Fair 2015

I was very happy that I managed to visit this
World's Biggest Book Fair 2015 this year.
I went twice and felt contented that we managed to get
some good reads that would last me at least several months.
Last year, I was quite mad that I drove to The Mines 3 times
and the horrendous traffic jams made me turn back home.
I bought nothing in 2014.

This was taken early in the morning but the whole place
became crowded by lunch hour onwards.

So happy that I must share our small loots below.

 My wife's books for intellectuals.

My books show how hungry I am for China's history.
I bought them for my coming plans to visit the
historical sites of China again.

Datong - Dunhuang - Bhutan - Tibet

  1. Last year I went during the preview sale. Nothing much to buy that time. This year, I got preview passes again but was too busy to even collect it and totally forgotten about it. Ended up not going at all :(

  10. oh that was a one huge book fair... honestly TM I am not into books for one reason.. i'm too lazy to read LOL.. i have read some novels before (usually sci-fi and mystery) but it took me forever to finish one haha...but if you will technically consider comics as books.... then i'm a bookworm LOL

  11. What's bad about book fairs is that I go home penniless. I collect books, children's lit for one, and will devour any when I see them. I was at Singapore this year and it was a workshop I attended. Outside were hundreds of books written by Asian authors and I was going gaga over them. Time for Asian writers to shine and the books were all worth reading and sharing to my students.

  16. Er.. honestly, I don't really fancy books about China written in English. I've read quite a few, most of them are written by expats or foreigners with their own perspective. Might not reflect the real mindset of China.

Of course I also imagine Americans do not really fancy English blogs written by Malaysians :P
