This PCB beach was formerly known as Pantai Cinta Beach and had to change its
name to Pantai Cahaya Bulan after some issues with the local folks.
A favourite getaway for family & freinds on weekends
when it's impossible to take photos by yourself!
No space!
No space!
I was lucky to visit on a weekday! The whole beach for myself.
The wind was so strong like typhoon lashing its force to the waves.
Look at the coconut trees!
Look at my hair!
All messy!
I cry!
They have many small restaurants lining the street with
everything you want to eat! Seafood, Western, , Kelantanese, Siam, Chinese
you just name it.
The colourful kites blowing like our daily lives!
Sometimes it's calm and sometimes kencang!
So sabar lah.
When you don't like someone.
Ask him GO FLY KITE!
How nice if we can become kids again.
How would I want to live my life?
I would have remained in US and not
listen to my brother to return home.
She just farted loudly!
My tour guide and driver is the BEST IN KELANTAN!
You must know by now how patient he is.
Call Him Today: +6-019-4756308
(Mr. Rosaifuddin)
He took me to eat all the famous food in Kelantan.
This is Kedai Kopi Khuan Heong Yan
which is located along Jalan Che Su.
(Opposite Hotel Crystal)
Everyday this shop is packed with local folks and
hordes of tourists like me.
We were welcomed by this friendly kakak who wore
a full bridal make up even at the kedai kopi!
She was so hilarious to tease us for sharing
a set of toasted bread! She didn't know that
we had just eaten the best Nasi Soup Ayam Bakar
on the next street. I was greedy and had to
try their famous Roti Titab.
We ordered their thick and aromatic Kopi-O and Kopi Peng
with half boiled eggs and kaya bread.
I couldn't believe my eyes! The eggs were so huge
that I had to ask whether it was dinosaur or
ostrich eggs??
Kakak insisted that we had to try this steamed bread.
I didn't order the real Roti Titab that would place the half
boiled eggs on top as I was sharing with my guide.
This is the charcoal toasted bread that was so
fragrant and nice.
Look at the fillings of thick butter and homemade kaya!
This is heavens!

Aiyo ... so funnylah you! Cannot stop laughing over your 'No Pollution' picture. Well, your hair looks way better than mine in windy conditions. This is a nice beach.
ReplyDeleteThe food looks yummy too especially the eggs!
Laughter is the best medicine. It was so natural to stumble into a farting lady unexpectedly. Funny la!
DeleteMy hair is easily messy and my nature of job requires spotless clean shirts & Hitler's hair do.
What an enjoyable day you had at the beach. The soft boiled eggs are so well prepared, almost like poached eggs.Oh I see that you have a pair of pink selipar Jepun :D
ReplyDeleteI love poached eggs & that one was done simply. I must eat & do what you eat & do. So the selipar Jepun speaks.
DeleteNot only u, if me, I will be greedy too, haha...
ReplyDeleteHigh 5!! We are both greedy friends & could sit all day at buffet tables. Wakakaka
DeleteI had to Google to find out what the real roti titab looks like since you mentioned it so many times here but you didn't order it. Ah, I can't eat it because I don't dare to eat the wobbly eggs on top, lolx. You look like a hair model with wind blowing through your hair in the above photo. If you have long hair it would be more wow! Hair shampoo advert starring TM.
ReplyDeleteI could say that I ordered Roti Titab but separated the eggs & the thick toast. In fact I have been eating this at Old Town Coffee a hundred times but didn't know it's Roti Titab.
DeleteI always use Loreal cos they are good & cheap if you buy from Aeon Wellness. I should ask them to sponsor me!
Very handsome looking toast. Do all the shops have Jawi script on their signboards?
ReplyDeleteYou wanna call it Roti Handsome?
DeleteYes every shop must have Jawi including 7-Eleven, KFC and every trade.
Nice to know you seem to have enjoyed yourself at the beach. I go to beaches to be tuned into spacious sea and sky, not to be a part of a large crowd. I'll choose a windy weekday. Good for you that your wig or hairpiece wasn’t blown away.... just kidding. Anyway, I felt like that I was hearing the sound of wind from your photos. The half-boiled eggs look like poached eggs. Delicous foods is a nice finish. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteYoko
Thank you Yoko-San. I could see that you love the nature just as much as I do. The ocean and forests are my best relaxing places.
DeleteI should wear a cap in future. I had to comb my hair over 10 times to quickly snap when the wind slowed down for 3 seconds.
Banyak best lah! Go jalan-jalan and enjoy the beach side!
ReplyDeleteI always go Jalan Jalan like old man but Lina always lari lari pula. So fast paced celebrity. Can you sit still by the beach? LOLOL
DeleteI love toasted bread with thick butter and kaya, especially when the butter is cold, so heavenly
ReplyDeleteI like this post, you have turned a simple visit to the beach and makan place into an interesting read
DeleteYou sure know how to enjoy too. Most people avoids thick butter but I swallow them happily. Once in a while is okay.
DeleteThank you for your kind compliments. I have too many posts until have to create 2-in-1 posts. Ha ha
I love pantai!
ReplyDeleteOnly problem is tanned-skin after going to the beach.. hur hur! Else I really don't mind going to the beach often.
The toasted bread looks good! Eat with kopi-o, nice kan?
I know you love the beaches in Penang! All my hometown lang say kam siah to you.
DeleteYes thick black coffee goes well with anything.
Wahhh.. you are making me drool over half boiled eggs!! Simple as they are, and as you said, they must be from other feather species, if not chicken.. indeed very big and looks nicely done too!
ReplyDeleteSo you agreed. I thought they could have used goose or ostrich eggs. Hope the hens were not injected to fatten the eggs as well. Sick people out there.
DeleteNice beach , not polluted la. Everyone need to let go gas a bit ... hehehe... Well. Good that the beach not commercialized yet like those in PD.
ReplyDeleteI will pay Kelantan a visit some day lol
I think all the beaches along East Coasts are cleaner. The waves of the oceans are mighty big. Good bye the rubbish.
DeleteTheir beaches are neat and clean without much commercial shops at the roads. Go visit la. When??
I'm with you on the 'kite flying thing'....wuahahahaha! :D Yes, one of those soft boiled eggs is really big...must be from a mutant chicken! ;D Hmmm, I see you left your 'footprints' in Kelantan! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am always surrounded by people who are sick headed. Ask them go fly kites everyday. So sien la.
DeleteI always try to remember to leave my footprints and collect shells to decorate my photo frames.
wakakakaka...she just farted... should ask her sit middle a bit..
ReplyDeleteYou want me to die kah?
DeleteWhy don't you ask her to shift her ass?? LOLOL
you dare daring one mah... Won't die one...only you might get to run 5km in 5mins time LOL
DeleteI've enjoyed your sense of humour as always, Tan. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you always.
DeleteYour hair still looks good there, means you used a very hard gel to gel your hair huh, hehe :P
ReplyDeleteI have combed my hair 10 times and got blown away like lalang. This shot is the best of the 8 messy shots. You thought I smeared with elephant glue? Hihihihihi
Deleteno worry about ur hair...let it be messy! hahaha!
ReplyDeleteI realised I always want to share only good photos with my readers. The same goes with my appearance that need to be prim & proper like an old lady. Kikikikiki
DeleteHi! You look very happy with various kind of delicious dishes.Even though your hair was umkempt, you are very handsome.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your kind compliments Saito-San. I really enjoyed my trip.
DeleteThe beach look isolated despite those children and women! Funny how the fart art goes off. lol
ReplyDeleteThis beach somehow resembles the one in my neighbourhood, but kites are banned in our city – Chennai
Indeed I ever see such big eggs!
I visited that beach more than 20 years ago but I did't remember anything. Does that coffee shop serve peanut butter toast?
ReplyDeleteMessy hair pic is sexy wei. I'm drooling at the half-boiled eggs picture. They are so perfect I can imagine slurping on them. Sigh..
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how you knew she farted and then I saw the drawing. hahahaha.
When I was in Kalantan a few years back, I actually stayed at the hotel opposite Khuang Heong Yan kopitiam. I still could remember their toast and half boiled eggs. Very yummy indeed.
