Where Do Spirits Like To Hang Out?

I wonder what is the real difference between spirits and ghosts? In my opinion, they are very similar in their own realms but you could actually tell them apart in meticulous details. There is holy & bad ghosts, as well as good & evil spirits whereas demons are straight from hell's realms. I am no expert in religions and I won't preach anything here. Just be good and kind to all sentient beings is what we should do always.

I have mentioned their most preferred whereabouts before and today, I would pose the same questions again. Where do you think those wandering ghosts and spirits like to gather in this human world?? Not all of them could see our dimensions but some do, depending on their situation, merits and overlapping hours (Yin Hour 7pm to 4am / Yang Hour 4am to 7pm). Guess where??

Yours truly at the cemetery grounds of Nirvana Memorial Park in Semenyih.

I always avoided cemeteries ever since I was a young kid because I often had terrible goosebumps and could sense the peeking ghosts hiding behind some grave stones. Now I have no choice as my current job in the bereavement services made me visit the biggest cemetery like my second home. Surprisingly, I could walk alone from one end to another without any fear. I guess that's because this Nirvana Group planned neatly well and designed the whole area very beautifully. They often invited prayers to be conducted so often the whole year through. That probably helped to ferry most of the wandering and lost souls to better realms.

The answer: Thousands of wandering ghosts & spirits love to sit & watch inside the dark cinemas. It is so cold and nice to watch good movies too. They would sit on the steps or empty seats beside you and inhale your energy's chi or share the pop corns or fries you are eating! Sometimes you walked down the steps blindly looking for your seats and tripped over 'unseen' spectator. You almost fell down and wondered what made you so clumsy? Niak niak niak!

The next place is all the hospitals! I don't know why many would gather there, more than the morgue itself. Some said that they are waiting for patients to depart whereas the morgue contains only departed ones. So no transactions could be done. These 2 places have the highest numbers all the time. Remember to say your prayers for protection always.

The other popular places are funeral parlours and public toilets. Mostly hundreds of unseen ancestors would gather at the funeral parlours when their 'own people' have departed. Only good ones would be received by their ancestors, holy spirits and singing angels hovering in the air. Bad ones would be dragged away by hell officers.

Public toilets are very popular because some loved the smell of blood and some loved the sight of your long brown poops. They looked very delicious like German sausages! Sedap giler. I am not joking here and won't dwell further on these facts. I prefer you to let your minds run wild.

Actress/Singer Bai Guang - Place of birth: Beijing, China / June 27, 1919. Departed: Kuala Lumpur / August 27, 1999.

Have you heard of a famous and unique grave that belongs to the late singer Bai Guang? It has a concrete piano specially built behind her resting place. When you stand near it, the piano would start playing out the recorded music followed by her crooning out her song very LOUDLY!! Goodness! It operates 24/7 and sometimes it would play by itself when no human beings were there. The other day, I brought my 2 downlines there to watch and they were so stunned and speechless to witness it. I have specially recorded a video below and you can listen to her nice music.

Please tell me what is your opinion of this video and whole topic today.

  1. i happen to have always found cemeteries to be so beautiful—vast and peaceful. the piano is stunning! if the music played in the middle of the night, though, that would proper freak me out, i think(!)

wasn't certain you were referring to a recent commentator, twilight. i'd actually thought you guys had been long time blog friends. glad to hear you've been free from these strange and uncalled for attacks.

    1. I guess you had never visited old eerie Chinese cemeteries. Western ones are always nice with statues of cute angels everywhere.

You are just like a butterfly. You only perched on pretty roses to smell without knowing they have many sharp thorns below that could bleed one to death. The same goes with eccentric bloggers would says something sweet a moment and then feed you fish bones & threats. I have been warned by several others since 6-7 years ago about this keyboard warrior's rude and intrusive comments. I kept my guard always but look at the trails of mess she has left in my posts to taunt someone else. No brains and no qualms whatsoever. The whole world and hell officers have watched her uncanny actions.

    2. speaking of old eerie chinese cemeteries... my ex and i had almost driven through one once—it was pitch black and yeah, okay, you're right about the old(er) ones being eerie. i guess it's all nice and serene in the daylight. don't know if it's the case in the witching hours.

you're right, twilight. i perhaps may be too naïve with people and that's a pitfall.

    1. I agree. Even young couples took bridal shots there by the beautiful canals and pavilion.

  3. At singer Teresa Teng's tomb in Taiwan, there is also a giant piano keyboard that plays her songs when one steps on them.

    1. Previously this Bai Guang's piano was different and need to step too. They have changed to the present one for technical reasons. Now this Teresa Teng's piano has same technical issues as some keys don't work anymore. Too much stomping I guess.

  5. yea, i heard of this unique piano too and my mum told me before. So, i jokingly said....if the music is too loud and played so frequently, it might disturb the neighbours' grave. How to RIP then?

    1. That's a good question as the piano plays very loudly. Maybe the neighbours have become her fans now.

  6. It's ok if the music plays when someone triggers it...but your story of it playing when no human beings are there gives me goosebumps (I actually read your post last night but waited until today before I clicked on the video...so eerie!). And when your camera panned in closer, I was thinking maybe you're going to show us the piano keys being pushed down by some unseen forces...alamak, you gave me a real fright!!

As to where the ghosts like to hang out, the obvious places would, of course, be cemeteries, hospitals (& mortuaries) and funeral (& cremation) parlours (that's where people die and their bodies taken to) but your mention of cinemas and public toilets really gives me the creeps lah. Aiyo, when I go watch movies alone, I always like to go during non-peak hours so that I can have the seat next to me vacant (even if I go with someone, we would skip a seat so that we can enjoy more space and comfort)...and now you tell me that there could be wandering movie buff ghost sitting next to me (and sharing my fries & hotdog)...oh boy! >_< Like that I better go in threes so that I can sit in the middle. ;D

As for the wandering spirits loitering in toilets...those must be the 'hamsap' ghosts? :D That's why I always like to hold it in until I get home (not because of ghosts until I heard it here but because of the cleanliness of some). But our ability to hold it in weakens with age...lolol.

    1. Wow! You are so brave to watch movies alone. I have no guts to do that as I could often feel their presence. The cold air cond would escalate my goosebumps. I agree that you should watch and sit in the middle.

I am not sure exactly why they frequented the toilets as many were hungry for food. They happened to be there and those items really resembled tomato soups and sausages to feed their imaginations. Sounds absurd but I am not kidding. I also hate dirty toilets with wet floors. In Japan, toilets are so sparkling clean that you could take a nap inside and select music to lull us to dreamland while seated on the throne.

  7. I read this post very early morning and was so brave to click the video. I'm afraid I found it eerie as the recording quality of the music does reflect the olden times.

The grounds of the Nirvana Memorial Park (from your photo) looks very serene and peaceful unlike those old cemeteries. In Kuala Terengganu, the cemetery is just behind my uncle's housing area and there are stories which I must tell later on!

Aiyo..cinemas! I have sat all alone in cinemas before and I think I will never do that again. As for toilets I have heard many stories and of course, hospitals. That one I also got stories and maybe I will share it one day.

    1. I agree that the music sounded eerie esp when it is at the cemetery. Otherwise it would be relaxing to listen at home's ambiance.

I always applauded all the cemeteries of this Nirvana Group for the well planning to make it serene, very clean, wheelchair friendly and no big trees with roots that would reach the grave sites.

When I wrote this post, I remembered you going to watch MBO movies alone. So brave and so geng!!! Hahahaha Just recite some mantras inside and they will leave you alone for sure.
I really look forward to hear all your spooky stories! Bring on quick.

  9. I choose to read this in bright daylight instead of midnight in case it might be too spooky for me. Talking about cinema toilets, in my 20s I went to a cinema to watch movie with my friend, in the middle of the movie, I went to the toilet, gosh the cinema toilet gave me an eerie feeling once I stepped into it but I have no choice so I quickly do my business and left.

    1. I believe that you heart is so kind always and definitely could feel the unseen presence. There are many filthy men's toilets here at petrol kiosks that are spooky esp after 7.00pm. I would step out.

  10. I didn't know about this piano, must be spooky to listen to the songs played in the middle of the night within the vast cemetery.
