I got discharged from hospital and went camping 2 days later at Hulu Langat's forest. My surgeon had advised me to take slow walks in the parks and forest areas. I believe there's healing energies. It was so cooling with fresh air and helped my weak lungs. I have to wear compression socks daily for many hours to help my circulation otherwise my breathing would slow down. I had lost too much blood.
I had to sleep on my own deck chair while my wife and all friends slept inside their own tents. My stitches could not allow me to lie flat on the bed and getting up from the camping ground would be impossible.
That's the small pavilion behind where I slept on my deck chair. I had a really good sleep and now believe that natural cool air and energy from nature could heal my body aches and weak lungs.
My wife has been extremely patient and took very good care of me long before and after the surgery. She served me hot coffee using her own camping utensils. I had so much fun by just relaxing and watching the many kids playing and running away. It was a great therapy to keep me alive and feel young again. When I was able to get up without walker, I told the whole gang to take some memorable photos for the album. Here's my comic photos for you to enjoy....
Mary Poppins.
Angry Wives.
Stay postive always. We all need positive vibes. Rest well and heal fast TM. You are very lucky and blessed to have your wife taking good care of you during this trying moment. I am sure you will reover very fast under your wife's tender and loving care. My prayers are with you. By the way i had sent you an email.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your prayers and email. My wife has been extremely patient with me these few weeks when I got cranky. LOLOL
DeleteDo fun to camp and have fun. Agree with you on the positive effect of outdoors to your recovery. Take care and stay healthy.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the camp so much and look forward to the next one during Christmas.
DeleteThe fact that you can posing gila2 with your buddies tells me that you are recovering exceptionally well! Good, your humor is still very much intact. It is true that places like that have positive vibes and healing energy. I am actually quite amazed that you can go camping after surgery. That's the spirit! Keep it up, stay well, stay safe and stay strong. Your wife is a God send and I know you love and appreciate her a great deal, and she likewise. She must take care of her own heath too. Wishing both of you all the best!
ReplyDeleteI am not shy to confess that I was also gila during the hospital stays. The doctors and nurses looked at me like a clown with unexpected jokes from my mouth.
DeleteMy wife refused to join her friends at the camp after buying so much stuffs for the trip. She wanted me to CRIB at home and I told her better to let me sleep in the forests. I am glad I did as it helped my extremely weak lungs which could stop sometimes as I had not enough blood to circulate. I had to wear compression socks 24 hours in the hospital. The minute I took them off, I was gasping for air! I am glad I am socks free now. Hooray!
I agree that God sent my wife to earth to meet me!
As usual, we can count on you to be different. Other people will be lying in bed and resting at home after surgery. But you, recuperating means going camping! >_< I guess when you're up and about having a good time with friends & family, it takes your mind off things...which is good. Your gang of friends is also very sporting & obliging to pose and take the photos you ask of them. P/S: Your wife certainly takes good care of you...she an even make you filtered coffee out in the 'wilderness'...lol. Please do take care of yourself and wishing you a speedy recovery & good news later! ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your kind wishes. I am a rather restless devil and being confined to hospital beds for a total of 12 nights was killing me. I was so depressed and video called my wife tearfully that I wanted to go home so badly. God heard my cries and suddenly the doctors sebulat suara wanted to discharge me the nest day as my stitches healed so fast to their surprise.
DeleteMy friends are all sporting for photos. Next month, I will camp again with them and will have more poses.
Imagine if the wives have the hairier legs...
ReplyDeleteMany do but waxed off till silky.
DeleteThanks for sharing your camping adventures. Looks beautiful and I hope nature helped to heal your body and you’re getting better everyday

DeleteIt is true that nature has healing effect and being around cheerful people helps too. Camping outdoor is a great idea and I can see that you and company had beautiful and memorable moments together. Enjoy the attention and care your wife shower on you. Wishing you speedy recovery and good news from your doctor.
ReplyDeleteI was amazed that the doctor was right that I should walk amongst the nature and good vibes. Thank you for your kind wishes.
DeleteStrong lah you, went for camping 2 days after surgery, salute salute!
ReplyDeleteCamping becomes so popular suddenly after the MCO has been lifted as I saw many peoples shared about their camping in social medias.
It's true that camping became a craze suddenly. Lots of sites are fully booked now during festive breaks. You might love to camp and cook there too.
DeleteYou, your wife and all your friends are looking so cute on the photos! Love the energy vibes within you all.
ReplyDeleteYeah. Great minds think alike and they all were happily enjoying the camp.
DeleteYou are indeed one strong guy. If for other normal people, for sure will lying on bed and resting for almost a week. Wishing you speedy recovery and always blessed with good healthy. Do take care of yourself
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Diana. I believe I have very strong willpower and go against all odds.
DeleteNice, I can see you are living a nice gwailou lifestyle. Just last year one of my colleague in Colorado also went to spend some off grid time in his own DIY winter cabin at the Rocky Mountains the next day after he got discharged from a major surgery. He was saying exactly the same things as you, about needing positive healing energy from nature.
ReplyDeleteCamping right after hospital discharge? wow not easy you know.
ReplyDeleteTake care ya.
