Kyushu Island in Spring 2014

Today is my 4th day in Japan and I have been touring around Kyushu Island which has famous cities and interesting towns like Fukuoka, Nagasaki, Kumamoto and many others. I am loving every minute here with its clean and neat surroundings. The culture of well mannered and polite Japanese certainly makes me happy and love this country too.

To get the best value for our travels, we just need to be smart to google and ask around friends for the best tips on hotels, transportation and sight seeing spots. Here I am holding the JR Kyushu tickets that gave me unlimited fast train rides around Kyushu Island. It was superb and comfortable trains.

This blog post will just be a sneak preview only for now. When I get home to Malaysia, I will go lengthy with funny and gory photos to share. The above direction signs at the Atomic Bomb's Museum in Nagasaki will be the topics I shall post in this blog later. Be sure to come back here again!

It is Spring and there are plenty of Sakura trees in beautiful shades of pink and white everywhere. The feeling is great to admire and smell the freshness of Spring here in Japan.

  1. Good morning from Ipoh here, Mr and Mrs. TM! Yes, it is indeed spring time, not only in Japan but also in Ipoh.. the flowers are all budding out and my car has the most blessings... full of flowers by the end of the day.. phew.. lots of work to take them off my car.. .hahahaa....
Really TM, you are a good tour organizer... google maps and finding the right spots to go to, tips and information... lots of work but worth the effort, right? Please share with us when you come back... I think I will never be so adventurous as you... I would rather follow the leader only.. :)
Ok, enjoy yourself.. looking forward to your unny and gory pictures!!

  2. Elo elo, greetings from Japan ahh? Wah, you look "kawa-ii-nehhhhhhhh".. Your red shirt matches the red train tickets you are holding.. Of course you are loving every minute there, later you will say you dont wana come back.. It's very safe there, and people are very kind too.. I remembered asking for directions from the cashier at 7-11 at midnite (yes, midnite), he immediately "closed" his cashier, "closed" the shop by hanging the "Closed" sign on the door, and walked with me to my destination.. I don't think I dare to do that here..

I'm like Claire too.. I'm just the follower.. You guys arrange everything, I just pay and follow.. Don't ask me to google, look at maps, book tours online and what-nots.. I prefer to just pay the agency everything here, and just let them do everything when I land there..

Wah, funny (this one understood la) and gory pictures? Got gory ones ahh?

  4. Thambee really salutes Anay!! you can write such a nice and neat post with your iPad even when you are enjoying your holidays!! unlike many who would be so rush and so "cincai", just post a couple of photos and that's it.. i like the way Anay blogs, one photo and one very short and precise paragraph to go with it, makes the reading so enjoyable.. and same goes to your Facebook lah, so organized, all photos are placed under one album, and not scattered everywhere flooding my facebook page!! muahaha~~ :)

  5. aiyoyo, Thambee just love those sakura so much!! haven't have the chance to go to Japan during spring time to see these beautiful flowers.. and it seems like one doesn't need good photography skills to shoot nice photos, because most of the place are already so picturesque and beautiful, by just simple pressing the shutter of the camera, we can get very nice photos.. and now i am drooling to go to Japan again!! it's your fault Anay!! :D

  16. Super jealous. I went Japan twice but I love to go again. Even my mom who went for the very first time last year, she instantly fall in love with Japan and said Japan is way better than korea, hk and taiwan. When I went for MATTA Fair, the Japan tourism board people said one time is never enough. Must go Japan at least 4 times and I am strongly agree with her. Enjoy your trip and take many many photos to share. You know, in case I wanna go ;D
