July Surprises

I went to Mid Valley during the Chinese New Year festive week and saw a fortune teller sitting at his booth. A friend had earlier told me that Chinese man was from Shanghai and could predict many things accurately by just looking at your signatures or handwriting. I forked out my RM100 and sat down to sign just an alphabet "K". He started telling me all my characters and forecasts for 2013. I was very stunned that he knew precisely the auspicious directions that benefits me according to my Bazi. I am not one who is anxious of my future predictions but I was curious to test this teller's accuracy by just looking at your handwriting!

The most amazing telling was that this month of July, I would see some "SURPRISES". I had no idea what his surprises meant but now I have been convinced! I had never received so many gifts from bloggers, all in a single month like July. Look at all my fabulous gifts below. I must covey my heartfelt thank you and appreciation to Bloggers Lina Mak Glam, Wenn, Renaclaire, SK Thambee , Huai Bin and a silent reader LKP.

I won this fabulous and useful gift after commenting at this blog http://sixthseal.com/ . I went to Nuffnang's office and collected my prize. I was in disbelief that I can say good bye to all the mozzies now!

I love this pretty NZ mug that comes with 2 packets of instant tea. I drink a lot of ready mix tea and coffee in my office!

I am always lucky to receive his gifts! His gifts are not easy to come by as I had to invest hundreds of hours to spam his blog! Muahahahahaha! I am placing the 2 dolls together as they look like a perfect couple now!

She could read my mind as my wife loves Beryl's chocolates more than any Belgian or even Swiss Lindt. I also love caps and have also been a strong believer in using the reflexology plasters that could really excrete out the toxic from our bodies. You should buy these plasters too!

I got these unexpected surprise gifts from a thoughtful blogger who always forgot to visit my blog for many years! Adoi!... Now we are best sistas & brothers! Hee hee!

This kind & appreciative silent reader bought me 2 expensive Mugs from London's Harrods. My jaws dropped on seeing its expensive brand and I dare not use them daily as I broke many mugs every year! Wakakakakaka

I hope you enjoyed the month of July with surprises too!

The Greatest Ballet Performance

I was very honored to receive the tickets to watch a spectacular ballet performance recently at Kuala Lumpur's Istana Budaya. My friends and I truly enjoyed the whole show of ~ "Coppelia -The Girl With Enamel Eyes"

Last week, I received the beautiful photos from the organizers as the general audience would not be able to snap such great angles like them. My heartfelt thanks to these photographers for sharing ~ James Quah, Meei Sien, Serena Tan & Patrick Heart . Here I must also share them in case you have missed this greatest ballet performance in Malaysia.

All the dancers gave a fantastic ballet dance musical night with a happy ending story line.

The lead dancers were so well trained and could jump up so gracefully!

Graceful moves like a pretty Swan.

This part was hilarious to see a mummified dancer being tossed about lightly like a toy.

They had fantastic lighting and props to create the magical mood.

This is the leading ballerina, Ena Hirose from Japan.

The leading male ballet dancer always has nice legs, waist, buttocks, arms, significantly representing the professional male figure truly!

He was so light like feathers and pranced up like a shooting star!

The talented dancers were all from Malaysia and overseas, as far as Japan & others.

Their expressions and music was perfect to keep the audience entertained.

This ballerina was all dolled up precisely for her role.

The young children danced very beautifully with happy faces.

They could easily stand on their toes with perfect graceful movements.

The great show ended with warmest long applause from the audience.
I am looking forward to more ballet shows!

Latest Indie Games ~ Dusty Revenge

Weeks ago, I blogged about Fareed's Nasi Kandar business which has grown leaps and bounds. Today I will share about a fellow blogger, Ken Poh from Singapore. He has become my best buddy over the years and we always shared a lot of interest in spiritual & spooky tale experiences and the unseen. Ken is very imaginative by nature and actually found me after googling the word "Lee Kuan Yew"!!! Well, you should know that I like to share all the sweet success of my friends' in lives.

Ken is now a famous IT expert who runs an innovative Ad Agency and makes exciting games!! I was happy on his recent launch and felt that I should blow my trumpet about his hot selling games at my own accord. His games are very popular now overseas until it attracted unscrupulous people who have pirated them in the market!! Please do not ever support piracy and hurt the original creators who invested thousands of hours and dollars to produce them. A cheat would only take a minute to copy illegally and pirate the business. That's horrible!

For those who love to play games, you will find this new "DUSTY REVENGE" very exciting and intense. The polls have given this a 5-STAR ratings! ENJOY!

Revenge will consume you, but redemption will push you to your breaking point.

Play as Dusty, a duel weapon wielding warrior ready to face loads of outlawed criminals, dangerous creatures and the ruthless evil villain that rules them all. Meet friends along the way with new weapons and alents, journey through lavishly drawn environments and work together to fulfill your unquenchable thirst for vengeance.

Intense story: Consumed for revenge after the love of his life is killed, Dusty crosses paths with 2 unlikely allies who are each seeking out the same enemy for a different reason. As the three set out to destroy the responsible band of villains and anyone else that stands in their way, they unravel a scheme much bigger than their personal vendettas.

3 unique characters with their own weapons and mechanics: Play as Dusty, a vicious multi gun wielding madman that boasts intense melee attacks. Players can also call upon two support characters, Rondel the artillery support who tramples enemies with a massive arsenal of weaponry and beastly rocket launchers, and McCoy the sharpshooter who takes down loads of enemies stealthily with his deadly accurate rifle.

9 Gorgeously drawn environments: Venture through cavernous wastelands, western ghost towns and deadly jungle environments in your quest for blood. You never know what to expect from the each of the unique and precarious worlds!

Hordes of menacing villains:  A whole slew of enemies are out there ready to kill. From aggressive predatory vermin, vicious stalking felines, venomous mechanical snakes and giant armored gorillas, all run by the enigmatic leader Craven.

You are guaranteed to enjoy hours of excitement and fun. Please buy only originals from links below!

Bento Food For Happiness

I always felt that our marriage was made in heavens. I am easily contented and happy over smallest things.
I may often be broke but I could still be happy to watch movies & enjoy simple meals by the road sides.
Before my wife was offered the post to lecture at the university, she had time to prepare my breakfast meals everyday.
She would pack her creative Bento food in little cute boxes for me to bring to office.

Each time I opened the Bento box, the food with little hearts and smiles would start my day happily.
I loved the feelings more than the food itself.

She never ran out of ideas creating them each day, often Mix & Match the cartoons and gardens of salad. Even over aged kids like me would be pleased like a happy child again.

The Bento food is often just small bites and easy to swallow them. They are healthy too!

Sometimes I would stare at the Bento food and figure out what the icons meant.
When she created them, I could see her creativity and glowing hearts being arranged inside too.
I was so touched and happy!

Our lives on earth is very short and time flies extremely fast. By the time we finished hunting for money and fighting with our neighbours, half of our lives have gone to wastes! We should live meaningfully each day.

We should love ourselves! We should live happily and healthily always. We should exercise and not get sickly until become someone's burden at our old age. That's selfish indeed if we could have prevented it.

Learn to pamper ourselves and relax with a book or watch the pretty birds running in the parks.
We should smile to everyone and everything including the cats and dogs.
If you can do that, your heart is certified as HAPPY!

If you love someone, tell him today and not next week. Tomorrow may not come!

The cancer patients who have departed had many regrets. The biggest regret was for not having friends around during their final journey of lives. We must love our friends and make new friends always.
We will only understand fully and appreciate them when we are in the patient's shoes.

I try my best to give happiness to my wife. She had a hard life and bad childhood under abusive parents.
I looked at the above egg of the girl smiling happily with twisted hair in golden brown.
I know that's my wife and she looked happy. Do you think so?

I am certified as a lousy food blogger because I was telling grandmother stories again instead of sharing about Bento making! Even the food photos were stolen from my wife's facebook but she really made them all for me!

Now that I have no more Bento for the time being, I took over to make salad breakfasts for my wife.
Just give and take in life. We will be happy that way.

Make a date with Coppelia, The Girl With Enamel Eyes

I have only been watching ballet rehearsals all my life from Penang's Priscilla Teoh Ballet Academy, all the way to US. Somehow I had no chance yet to watch a real full performance so far. In US, I lived in the Pittsburgh's boarding school at Point Park College where they had a Dance & Performing Arts faculty. Many ballet students had to practice their dances everyday inside the big halls while foreign students like me could only stand behind the pillars to watch them tip toed gracefully in and danced around beautifully like happy swans. Ballet performances are often well received and fully appreciated in US. On the opening nights, we could often see chauffeur driven stretched limousines arriving outside the Opera Houses and Theaters with distinguished male guests wearing their best evening attires of tuxedos accompanied by ladies in pretty designer gowns. That's how glamorous the ballet performances are perceived by the American high societies and Art lovers.

I was truly excited to hear that a romantic comedy ballet performance called "Coppelia -The Girl With Enamel Eyes" will be coming to town this weekend!! I told my wife that I will bring her to watch and nothing's going to stop me. I also invited some tutu friends to go along to enjoy the best ever ballet performance this year. All my tutu friends are guys like me who love and appreciate beautiful performing Arts like this.

Here's some insight of the coming performance at the Istana Budaya, Kuala Lumpur this 6 & 7, July 2013.

Coppelia revolves around Franz and Swanhilda as two promised lovers. Coppelia is the mannequin creation of Dr. Coppelius’s mystical workshop.

A cacophony of mischief takes place in the mystical workshop when Swanhilda and her friends sneak into the workshop, Franz climbs through the window and Dr Coppelius returns. Surprises unfold and true love is united. I guarantee you that it would be an evening of excitement and fun to enjoy their finest performance!

Look at how graceful the dancers would tip top and dance beautifully around the stage!
You and I would be truly amazed.

She sits on the balcony everyday and Franz becomes enchanted by her beauty, much to Swanhilda’s dismay.

Come and join me for the evening! Here is the ticketing details for the ballet performance.
